Sharad, a young budding chess player and student of Class VII of Sagarikara School, Port Blair has excelled in ‘Celebrating Yoga Day – Harmony & Peace Tamil Nadu State Level School & College student’s Chess Tournament2024’ held on June 8, 2024at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Periamet, Chennai, Tamil Nadu by winning a prize in the boys under-12 category.
He played quite well and scored 4.5 points from 7 rounds with four wins and one draw. He received a trophy and a certificate for this achievement, a press release from ANCA said.
