At the core of Mission Karmayog is the iGOT Karmayog platform, a comprehensive online platform that guides individual civil servants in their capacity building. It’s not just a learning platform; it is a solution space that combines five functional centers for online learning, competence management, career management, discussions and networking. This allows civil servants to operate more efficiently, ultimately improving the government’s enforcement capacity. It is a pleasure to note that A and N Islands stand first among the State/UTs with 31,613 and 15,899 Karma Yogis completing the course. A total of 44,444 people registered for various courses on the A&N islands . Through this capacity building forum, government employees were invited to attend courses of their choice. Through these centers, the platform enables online, face-to-face and blended.
Learning, facilitates discussions through ongoing forums, guides careers and enables reliable assessments that speak reliably about the capabilities of civil servants. While iGOT Karmayogi attributes the learning to the learner, it also provides tools for departments and managers to monitor and guide employees. It provides anytime, any device learning to educate about 2 million users, which until now was unattainable by traditional methods. The platform is designed to evolve into a vibrant, world-class content marketplace modeled with FRACs and supported by a strong e-learning content industry. Content may be curated by individual ministries or organization internally or through information partners. The training modules deliver carefully designed and vetted content from best-in-class educational institutions, universities, private content providers and individual resources.
